Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience for a high-tech, multi-specialty operating room position requiring a NH or compact RN license.
Details
- State-of-the-art OR with 26 high-tech suites handling both inpatient and outpatient procedures
- Serves patients across all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Specialties include ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery
- Shift options include mid or swing shifts (preferred), with days available for the right candidate — 3x12 or 4x12 (11:00a–11:30p) or 4x10 (11:00a–9:30p)
- On-call or off-shift requirement of 4–5 shifts per 13-week contract, which may be 12-hour shifts or on-call, day or night
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma center
- 2 manager references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Multi-specialty scrub and circulating responsibilities across a broad range of surgical services
